🪙PORP Token

The PORP token is an ERC-20 style token which will secure the following critical functions:

a. Protocol Upgrade Governance

Once mainnet is launched, protocol upgrades will be approved by a token-holder vote.

b. Oracle Whitelist

PORPOISE generates reputation through oracle verification of individual’s responses to surveys. Oracle integrity is critical to ensuring the accuracy and fairness of generated reputation scores. The PORPOISE oracle whitelist will consist of a token curated registry managed by the community of PORP token holders.

c. Survey Ranking

Survey Proposers can utility the PORP token to priorities their survey on the network in order to increase the number of reputation builders who are exposed to their survey. survey ranking is managed through a stake for ranking system.

d. Survey Bounties

Survey Proposers can tie bounties to their surveys to incentives rep builders to respond. In this case the Survey Proposer will deposit a number of PORP tokens into their survey, which will be divided by any responders who correctly answers the survey as judged by the oracle listed on the survey.
